North Star Flyers - Meet Our Plane

Our club started with one plane right, a low-time 1982 Beechcraft Sundowner. It came with standard avionics -- dual nav-coms, a back-up altimeter, and an ADF. The club has been able to add a DME, and it is in the process of having a Garmin 430W IFR GPS added.

Recently the club added a second plane, a well-cared for 1969 C172K. Equipment is standard, but it does have a Garmin 496 VFR GPS. Pictures will be available shortly.
