North Star Flyers was founded in early 2007 to provide high-quality aircraft to local pilots at a reasonable cost and a venue for pilots to safely learn their skills under the guidance of the best instructors in the Twin Cities. From ten members and an airplane, we have grown steadily to our current six airplanes and approximately 90 members. We are a bona fide club offering our airplanes and services to members only.

 

All aircraft are hangared in heated comfort at Anoka County-Blaine Airport. Members have unrestricted access to the club hangar and its amenities. A dedicated mechanic knows all airplanes intimately and keeps them in peak condition for every flight.

 

Ours is the most robust educational program of any flying club in Minnesota. Many members earned their private pilot certificates and advanced ratings with our top-quality, highly experienced instructors. FAA-endorsed safety programs, ground schools, continuing education and other courses are offered regularly.

 

Hangar parties, breakfast and lunch flights, and participation in flying competitions are just some of the social events to look forward to as a member of North Star Flyers. We are a friendly bunch, ready to meet you and welcome you aboard.
