Our Mission
From the very beginning, our mission has been simple: Provide the best possible flight experience for our members. That includes safe, clean and well-maintained airplanes, a welcoming environment and the highest-quality flight instruction available anywhere. Membership
North Star Flyers is a members-only flying club requiring purchase of a position and maintenance of membership with dues. Financially, this is as follows:
Buy-in (one share per member): $600
Dues: $715 per year or $65 per month
Belonging to North Star Flyers entitles a member to use of club facilities, participation in club activities, and the use of club aircraft (following check-outs). All instruction is conducted by member flight instructors; a minimum of one flight per calendar year with an instructor in a club airplane is required to maintain flying privileges.
We kindly ask a two-year commitment of new members as a way to maintain club status and to distinguish ourselves from commercial operations.

Hangar Parties
We are a social group, and hangar parties and seminars are frequent happenings. Teaching seminars are often registered with the Federal Aviation Administration Safety Team (FAAST) for credit towards “WINGS Program” or Flight Review requirements.
