To become a member, the following forms are required:

 

* Application for membership

* Insurance form

* Member agreement form

 

Memberships are reviewed and approved by the North Star Flyers board.  Once approved, the following financial obligations apply:

 

* Equity buyin - $500

* Dues - $45 per month or $495 per year

* Aircraft operating charges - see individual aircraft on this site for details

 

North Star Flyers requires a two-year commitment from each new member.  This distinguishes us from flight schools, helps maintain a stable club pilot community, and allows more accurate cost and revenue planning.  Early cancellation of membership is possible under certain conditions that are outlined in our club's bylaws.  These can be provided to serious, potential members upon request.
